Review
Canon Utilities EOS Utility 2.4 is the latest updated version for Windows of this application. We can update our previous versions online. EOS Utility is one of the utilities we get when we purchase a Canon Digital Camera. It has been developed for connecting our camera to the computer via an USB cable or wireless. Image formats supported by the EOS Utility are JPEG and those shot with a Canon camera. Once the connections are made, we can control the camera from the PC for downloading images (all of them or just the one selected by us), setting the camera for remote shooting, managing the destination folder, etc. It features also a WFT Utility for a wireless transfer of images, an ODS Administrator Utility, ODS Utility (very useful if we want to view the images within our computer or external device and protect the original data) and Picture Style Editor (which supports the CR2, TIFF, TIF, and CRW image formats). It runs under Windows Vista, XP, 2000. This program is valid for the following Canon EOS Camera: KissX2/DIGITAL REBEL XSi/DIGITAL 450D,EOS-1Ds Mark III, 40D and EOS-1D. |
